Enjoying the sunshine
We've had a very relaxing day today, and the weather's been glorious - rather windy with a chill in the air but very sunny. After breakfast we took the boys out for a walk to the marina and as we walked past the fishing boats, this Cormorant came in to land so we stopped to watch him drying his wings in the sun. We then went to Cafe Rouge for a drink and it was nice and sheltered so we were able to sit outside in the sun.
We walked 5 miles in total but decided to catch the bus home as the once the sun started to go down, it became really cold and to be honest, I didn't fancy another 5 mile walk! We sat at the back of the bus and I was sat next to a lady who was taken with Bobbie - she started stroking his head and in no time at all he climbed onto her knee where he remained for the rest of the journey! She was made up and wanted to take him home lol! I'm sure he could be a therapy dog like Roo.
My thoughts today are with my friend Elaine who's dog Lucie had to be put to sleep. She was only 10 years old, but has been very poorly over the last couple of days, and after a few visits to the vets, sadly there was nothing they could do.
Anyway, Christmas is over for me, I'm back in work tomorrow, so I'd better go and get the dinner on, and then get my things ready. Have a lovely evening!
