A life of surprises

Carl's T-shirt proved to be a hit - especially with Matt, who does like a science-based gag. 

A pretty relaxed day, until Andy got back from his pal's and the boys had a massive Nerf battle with the guns Carl and Laura had given them for Christmas. 

The element of surprise was continued when, just as Carl and Laura were leaving, our friends Birgit and Dirk dropped in. Good to see them.
