Sunset from the Moor

A great walk with good friends across the West Pennine Moors to the Strawberry Duck at Egerton for lunch and back, giving us a good ten miles on foot.  Made the best use of every bit of daylight.  Ian looking across to Winter Hill with its distinctive telecommunications masts as the sun set in the west.

In other news  -  a slip outside the front door!  before our walk on the hills, means a  potential visit to the walk-in centre early in the morning for an x-ray to my wrist/arm.  Hopefully won't be necessary if things improve overnight.  Take care out there : )
