This is what's left of the seedheads of our echinacea plants, from the summer!

I like to leave them as is, as the little garden birds like to eat their seeds.

I thought this one looked particularly pretty with it's frost coat on! Hope no one saw me creeping around the garden at 8.30 in my dressing gown and slippers :-0
