An Evening at the English seaside

The sun came out this afternoon so I finished up sharp at work and took the train from Bristol to visit Weston super Mare.

This was my first visit and really liked it - have a softness for classic seaside towns (perhaps because I grew up in one.)

I had a long walk along the beach breathing in the fresh sea air and then cancelled out the goodness by having a fish supper at the wonderfully retro Regent Restaurant. (Following on from yesterday's blip this was the restaurant used in "Never Let me Go" where Ruth and the others order sausage, egg and chips.)
