The Queens Speech

We had 2 very excited children today, with Ethan and Eden waking at 5.55am with loud shrieks "Santa has been"!  We didn't let them actually get up till about an hour later though but had to give in then, with us all piling through to Granny & Grandpa's room to open the kids (and the Grandparents) stockings.

Both kids did well at then waiting till after the Queens Speech at 3pm which is when our family traditionally open the main "under the tree" presents.  Ethan even sat nicely and watched the Queens Speech, taking it all in quite intently.  He did much better than I ever did as a child - it always seemed like the longest ten minutes of my life!
