Top of the Hill

Glorious but cold day.  Although I wasn't cold at all once I reached the top fort on Moncrieffe Hill, with outstanding views over to Ben Ledi at Callander.  On the way down I met a young girl with a beautiful German Shepherd dog and we chatted all the way to the car park. She is off to Thailand at the end of January for a month of holidays, spending two weeks of it working in an elephant sanctuary.  Fabulous!  Hope to meet her again up there as would love to hear how she got on.

We have had Scott staying with us since Boxing Day, but unfortunately he didn't pack for the snowy wastes only have slippy dress shoes so him and his Dad walked into town and I met them later.

Rounded off the day with a meal out, bringing GG with us.  It was meant to be for Lola's birthday, which was last week, but she was ill, and the gang couldn't manage at all tonight.  We decided we would celebrate her birthday without her:-)
