Strong Tree

I do not know the reason I was so intent on photographing a tree today.  I was actually looking for a lone barren tree in a field, but settled for this Oak near a restaurant and docks in Calabash.  I do always find the way this tree has grown to be appealing when I see it.  Perhaps, I needed strength today or perhaps felt like the tree in the field, but here's the one I found.  It does look old and strong doesn't it?  In it's strength and age, it also looks to me as if it can be encompassing.
