My opinion on Euro 2012

Well a massive summer of sport is approaching, euro 2012, the Olympics and the Ryder cup are my three highlights!

Today saw the announcement of the England euro 2012 squad and my opinion for what it is worth is as followed: why are we taking baines, downing and Carroll? For me there is no point taking a secondary left back when we have lescott, Barry and Milner who can fill in if needed, go for it and take 5 strikers and include sturridge!

Downing has not performed and doesn't get picked for his squad drop him and bring in carrick and replace Carroll with holt! 5 strikers and in wellbeck and sturridge we have 2 players who can fill in on the wing in the absence of downing in the squad!

For me the squad is not bad and I don't want to have a go at Roy I think he will do a good job, I just feel it is a bit too safe in reality a bit too English and predictable!

Another big footballing issue that I Care about is the next villa manager, mcleish had to go! Mcarthy is not the answer my choice would be poyet, young, exciting and charismatic! Other great options are lambert, ranieri and di Mateo if Chelsea let him go! I will wait for the manager to be appointment before I make my decision on a season ticket!
