Snow geese 2

I stopped at the quarry on my way home from WV - I expected to see a lot of snow geese, but never imagined that I would get to see thousands of them coming in for a landing. Wave after wave of honking birds from every direction would come together over the quarry and swirl and funnel their way down to the water. It looked chaotic, but they obviously have a system. It was so amazing. I had my phone in one hand taking a video and my camera in the other taking pictures, but after a few minutes all I could do was stand there and take it all in.
