Really close

Is what I was to this kawaupaka on the rocks at the point between our beach (perhaps I should start calling it Fidelis Beach, as the one path directly down the cliff to it is from Fidelis Avenue; has a slightly less proprietal feel about it) and Southend, Snells Beach.

I was back at the EPI team offices today; to see two patients and be available for any (non-existent) emergencies. It was a breeze driving from Snells beach to the hospital and back again. Everyone is off on holidays it seems.

When I arrived back I was told that C was taking her boys to get an ice cream and then to Algies Bay. So I suggested that the boys walk with me to Algies; from the beach house down the steps to Southend Snells Beach, around the point to Fidelis beach, around the next point to Algies. C and J would go to the dairy and buy the ice creams, and we would all meet up at Algies, from where I would walk back.

I'd love to be able to put into my blipfolio, an album of the boys on this jaunt,  but I know not how in the new system. So I'll put them onto Facebook.

I'm really pleased that I was able (with great care) to get just 4m away from this small shag (The Little Pied Shag), and with the telephoto lens on the Pentax (avoiding tsuken having to guess which camera I've used) get this rather nice photo.
