Tyred!

Slept well.  Breakfasted early.  Read.  Walked.  Talked (with the 'lost' guy from yesterday.  Is he tracking me??)   

Refuelled in Waipukurau (including small mechanical adjustment to fan belt).  Drove to Hastings (why is 'Sale' such an irrestible word?) now at Clifton Road Reserve freedom camping area again (thankyou Napier District Council), only metres from the ocean.  

This woman had the right idea at the end of a hot day - lie down on the beach (even if it is a pebbly one) and read.

Tomorrow I shoot gannets at Cape Kidnappers......(that's Cape Kidnappers to the left of the bush).  There's only about 20000 of them to choose from......could be a tough choice.
