Penguin Parade

Ok so the first thing you will notice is that my blip isn't of a penguin!

Our day didn't quite go to plan....we have witnessed a fantastic four hour storm! The place we are staying at here on Philip Island took us in early and we were allowed to sit overlooking the Ocean from the lounge area with a bottle of wine! Absolutely fantastic few hours chilling out and being still. The owners here have lots of little trinkets around so I decided to practice my manual camera settings and this is the result! Not seen it on big screen as my laptop dosent like the Aussie charge here....so I hope this trinket looks ok to you all!

Tonight we went to the Penguin parade where every evening little penguins return home to their colony. A very commercial tourist attraction. We took a guided tour and Kat our guide was very knowledgeable and the tour allowed us to go into areas not open to the public. Rightly so no photography allowed....we throughly enjoyed a few hours watching the little guys and girls marching back home as fast as their little legs can carry them.

Another great day today....tomorrow we sent to Sorrento.
