Lapland

I LOVE this picture!!! She was in amazement at the beauty of the place when we first landed. She couldn't stop looking out of the window and the snow covered trees. Once we finally got to Lapland after a long flight, bus ride and suits and boots, we enjoyed husky rides, reindeer rides, sledging and seeing the big man himself! It was ABSOLUTELY freezing! She seemed to enjoy herself, despite her cold toes! The usual Ferguson drama getting a snow suit on and then on the plane home dampened the day, but it was to be expected. It's always the case. Nothing ever changes on that part, and I haven't missed it one iota. I felt sorry for Gracie not being able to sit by the window as originally agreed. I hope it didn't spoil an otherwise fun and pleasant treat for her. She has very kind and loving grandparents!
