Scaffolding

Shadow of the scaffolding which is on my house on the wall of the house next door - I left the cable and overflow pipe in the picture to show that it is in focus, even if the shadow looks soft.

I had another entirely different photo for today, but I can re-take that one any time, so I decided to use this one today, as I live in hope that the builders will come back at some time in the foreseeable future to finish their work and remove the scaffolding (and leave the house in a state where I can use my bedroom again, and get at some of the photographic gear which is in there under multiple dust sheets)!

I tried processing this shot as monochrome, but I prefer this very desaturated version to both the original colour and the monochrome versions.
