Getting the Christmas tree from the woods

We got a white Christmas! In the morning it started to snow and now there is some 15 cms of snow covering everything.

This was our first Christmas at Tyven - and the first time that the kids went to get the tree the oldfashioned way straight from the forest. It was a long process of careful consideration to find the perfect tree - which they did in the end!

Now it stands in the living room with all the decorations. We had my mother and sister Leena over for Christmas dinner with Leena's son Severi. Paula's husband Esa joined us later for the traditional Christmas boardgames.
