Dried Eryngium
We should have gone out this morning, it was so bright and crisp, but we didn't.
Instead I've been faffing about with maps and planning the length of walks through a site called "Trailzilla". It comes free with Country Walking Magazine and is extremely useful because it has a magnetic line and can, for example, be used for measuring towpath distances, something it is not possible to do with Google.
However, that is not what I have been doing. I have been measuring the walks I take on a regular basis and adding extra stretches to make the walks longer and more interesting.
I have also found out where there is a hidden wolf sanctuary and it's less than a mile away. Must investigate.
I have a quite sad dried flower arrangement which the sun was shining on this afternoon and managed to catch this in silhouette. Just a few adjustments to turn the uninteresting background white.
I haven't fathomed out why I always have more stars through the notifications section than are displayed in comments.
