Piggyback

Camera mounted on the scope rather than directly into eyepiece.
Was struggling to find what I wanted. My own damn fault - messed up my alignment, lost 15 minutes, then figured out that really, I should have gone to bed after I had a bath at 9pm as my heart really wasn't in it.

However, did view the M3 globular cluster and observed 9 different satellites trailing the sky in the space of 25 minutes.

Cannot wait for my wonderful husband to complete construction of the observatory - will save me at least 45 minutes of faffing about with setting up and taking down the scope.

Thanks for all the love yesterday. Was still riding on the positive wave today and particularly enhanced by a great degree of frivolity with colleagues today.
