We were invited to a friends house this afternoon for a mini gathering of mums and children. Jimena lives in the countryside with a hyge pond at the bottom of her garden and goats and deer. Its the kind of house you dream of living in. Peaceful with fantastic views. Elodie loved her afternoon. Sometimes in these situations she can be a bit quiet. Not today though, she was in her element, making good use of all the outdoor play space and toys. It was nice to watch her having so much fun and mingling with the other adults and children.
It's amazing the joy you get from watching your child be happy. It's a part of parenthood I never expected. I'm so lucky to have her. x
