Walking in a Winter Wonderland

I thought Mr A might want a lazy first day off work today.....wrong!

Although we had a good lie in, after we'd had something to eat, he decided we should go for a walk.

He wanted to go to a little place called Tockholes, which isn't too far from where we live. It felt miles away once we got there though due to the snow, but it was nice and felt more like Christmas.

It also meant I could give my new boots a test too. They did well, my feet were fine but they rubbed my ankles a bit.

It wasn't until about halfway into our walk that I remembered I have an app for walking! I activated it and reckon altogether we walked about 5km, which isn't a bad start.

I took lots of photos on the way round, it was such a pretty little place. (this one is SOOC)

Mr A knew the route from when he was younger; he used to walk the family dog there.

All that fresh air made us hungry so we went back home for an early dinner.
Tonight will be a well deserved chill out, with snacks & a movie.
