Old Mother Hubbard's Cottage

This 400 year old stone cottage in Yealmpton, Devon is said to have been the home of Old Mother Hubbard who was the subject of the rhyme written by Sarah Martin in 1804, and which we know from childhood. She was the housekeeper at nearby Kitley House. The cottage was converted to a restaurant many years ago and in its present form is a Chinese Restaurant and takeaway.
