Hatton Water Works

We decided on a local walk to get the best out of the daylight. So went on our Hanchurch Walk.

This is taken looking back, into the sun, towards the old Hatton Water Works complex. It's now been transformed into apartments.

It was built over 20 years, and was finally completed in 1907. It's a beautiful brick building. Those Victorians knew how to make the functional look ornate.
