Edinburgh jaunt

The girls and I went through to Edinburgh on the train, primarily to go and see Scottish Ballet's 'The Nutcracker', which was fabulous, but we killed a few more birds with the one stone.

First we explored the Christmas market in Princes Street, then walked over to Stockbridge to visit cousin Alison and her husband in Dean Terrace. On the way back I blipped the girls in front of this magnificent building, The Dome, now a restaurant, in George Street.

The final treat before going to the theatre was a reunion with my bestie's younger daughter, Laura, for a meal in an Indian vegetarian restaurant which also had a vegan option on the menu, which suited Lulabel. 

We didn't get home till after midnight, but it was a super day.
