Daddy's girl

Yesterday I told you how brilliantly my sister was adapting to the role of a new mum. I didn't mention Tony, but it's plain to see just how wonderful he is with Olivia too, and how much she loves her Daddy.

Your Dad always has a special place in your heart. Tony will always be there for Olivia, he'll be her rock, he'll be her hero. That's the type of person that he is. She'll need him over the years and he'll keep her safe, protect her and comfort her. He'll give her advice (even when she doesn't need it or won't follow it) and he'll help her fix things.

Tony is a stellar Dad. And, as she lies asleep on his knee, there's no place in the world that she'd rather be.
