Bramble Drop

There was a heavy frost last night and today has been very cold with some lovely sunshine. Guy spotted frozen drops on an ornamental bramble and thought they would make a good blip. Thanks Guy. I have to admit I struggled with my macro lens (as usual). It's an old Sigma 105 mm with no vibration reduction so I had to get the tripod out. Then I couldn't get the tripod in the right spot to take the picture that I had got hand held. The hand held shot wasn't sharp so I had to give in.

Can anybody recommend a good macro lens (preferably zoom) with VR for a Nikon?
