Surprise!

I placed a bunch of peanuts on the tops of the branches of a bush underneath my kitchen window.  Within minutes, 3 blue jays showed up.  Each took a peanut and flew off.  While they were busy cracking open their lunch, I got in position with the camera and waited for them to return.  

Just as this one was ready to grab his second peanut, he realized I was right on him with the camera.  He squawked, grabbed the peanut, and flew off.  Both of us went away happy!
