Winter

Got up today to a world of hard frost and freezing fog so I grabbed the camera and headed for Rouken Glen park.

Today I took over 200 pictures and was in the park for a couple of hours so perhaps unsurprisingly I had real trouble choosing the blip. I narrowed it down to about a dozen pictures and eventually chose this one, as I think it is closest to the way this morning in the park looked and felt to me.

It was a glorious, beautiful day and reminded me why winter is so fantastic. The hard frost combined with the freezing fog and the low winter sun made the park look magical. It was great to be out on such a cracking day.

I am also pleased with this picture as my 730th blip.
