Back in Spain - hurrah!

Up at 4.00am this morning to catch the 7.15pm flight to Alicante.  Had a bit of a "security" issue at about 5.30am when we found that eldest daughter had packed some of her very expensive skincare Christmas presents in her hand luggage not realising a) creams are classed as liquid and b) they were each well over the prescribed 100 mls allowed.  Tears and unhappiness ensued when said articles were thrown in the bin!  Arrived safely to a glorious 10 degrees with a) sail boats sailing b) lovely mountain views c) lovely local views d) man mowing lawn?  (I think this was actually a machine to pull out all the old grass prior to reseeding) e) more mountain views and f) yes OK a bit of rain - so what, its not real rain here only in Manchester, the capital of real rain...  Managed to blow the fuses tonight after running the heating, lighting, oven, kettle, television etc all at once - initially thought the whole area had had a power cut because it was dark everywhere but I just needed to flick the main fuse switch back on to get it all working again!  Isn't technology wonderful when it works...
