Today was a Peggie day.

We drove to Caumsett Park accompanied by good vibes, good weather, and good music, and then hiked around for a few hours. I found a bat inside of a little shed-type thing off of the mansion there, and climbed a few trees. The combination of the sun and the weather and the happiness of being outside made it a really good time. I packed a mini-feast, so that was more than welcome to our stomachs in the car. Afterwards, we went to Sagamore Hill, and then went to Teddy Roosevelt's gravesite. We totally didn't hope the fence to get in. Maggie was emotional. Sad.

Pizza at Maggie's place, and then we picked up Belinda to get ice cream. Which was a terrible idea. Because my car doesn't have heat, and the ice cream place was freezing. Oh well.

**It just dawned upon me today that I bought a ticket to see the New Pornographers in Ithaca........... which means that I will see Neko Case (my animals rights activist, feminist idol) (also a member of the New Pornographers)............. in person. So I might actually die. Excited. So excited.
