Sunset thru the trees

I stuck my head out the back door and took this shot before the sun went down tonight.  I have so many trees which is good and bad,  They make nice silhouettes but they also hide some of the pretty colors in the sky.  They look beautiful with a layer of snow on the branches.  I hope this isn't one of those winters that we don't get any snow.,  I don't need three feet of the white stuff but a few inches would be nice. 
It was colder today than it has been lately but the crisp, cold air felt good on my face as I stood in the doorway.  I can't wait to take walks again.  I had good news today.  The specialist we are waiting to see about my back has moved up my appointment to January 5th.  Yay.
