Today starts our staycation with my 3 little ones as Miles' school is closed this week. Dad still has to work, so I took all 3 kiddos downtown to ride the train and then have lunch with a friend. It was a pretty but cold day outside and Miles loved riding the train, even though all we did was ride a few stops and head back.
Later we took our daily trip to visit grandpa c, which was fun but everything fell apart when we got home. 2 screaming babies (that darn witching hour), Miles was mouthing off and Hurley peed all over our floor...all while we were trying to make dinner. Mitch and I just powered through...life is all about putting things in perspective. We are very lucky despite those moments that test your sanity.
