Ragwort flowers.

I liked the petals on the unopened flowers, that stick up like little spikes.
Only one day left of 2014...... where has the year gone.
Took the dogs for a quick walk this afternoon, to have a look where we had been told some kayakers had a fire up on the bank, in the bush.
They had cleared a area about 2 metres square and lite  a fire there under a stand tree!! At present there is a total fire ban on, which means no fires in the open at all.
The person who told PJ about it, also made them put it out. PJ is the local fire permitting officer for the Rural Fire Force in our area. 
PJ has had a busy day on the boat today, and it will be late before he finishes, as there are 4 people having dinner at the Lodge, then they need transporting back to their accommodation again.
We didn't have any dinner transfers last night, so managed to go and see some friends for a couple of hours.
