Searching for Santa

Christmas Eve is here and we have been sprinkling the magic all around. Finlay has been so excited and keeps listening intently to his message from Father Christmas as well as looking on the scanner app to see where he is in the world and what he is doing. Earlier in the day he was loading presents onto his sleigh and at bedtime Father Christmas was in Russia delivering presents with Rudolf! We also out out stockings in both children's rooms and left out the obligatory mince pie and port for Father Christmas and carrot for Rudolf. Finn was funny looking up the chimney to see if he could see Father Christmas stuck up inside. Finn got scared when we went out to see him riding across the sky so we spotted him quite quickly (in the guise of an aeroplane headed to Heathrow!) Both children went down without a fuss so hopefully we can enjoy some good food and wine in peace tonight. Silent night everyone!
