COMING IN TO LAND

It was quite a busy day today. I had to sort out leaky bath taps so, after turning off the water and stripping the tap, it was a trip to B&Q for a replacement. On the way there, I noticed that the pond at the Helix was frozen and various birds were padding about on the ice. I thought it might make a nice blip so, after getting the right bits at B&Q and effecting a repair, I headed back to the Helix with my camera. I got loads of shots of various gulls walking on ice but this young Herring Gull (I think) won my blip of the day!
