"Start spreading the news, I'm leaving"

Packing the essentials as I am off to New York tomorrow for 6 days. Camera, boarding pass and passport, I am not bringing much else! I never check luggage in so I am just bringing hand luggage, a trait left over from my backpacking days! I know how hard it is to struggle with heavy bags whilst trying to negotiate crowed streets and public transport. Less baggage equals less hassle. This is also true in life. The less emotional baggage a person has the less hassle they have to deal with.
