Barn in winter sun

The night before last the electricity went off. The trips were fine, it was a power line - strange that it was just my house off. They dispatched a cherry picker and men at midnight as they said it was an overhead line. Next morning no electricity still. Two men turned up to investigate then more and more until there were five vehicles outside.

At this point F collected me to a "do" at his No. 2 daughter's house. This beautiful barn is along her lane, it has big gates on the side and a car inside - a very impressive garage! They have very little snow in the south of the county compared to us in the north.

When I returned there were lights on everywhere in the house and three big chunks of pavement up outside (fortunately with boards and cones over).
