A snip of bargains!

This was the phrase my daughter used when we left the garden centre after several bargain purchases in the 50% off sale. This included two very large garden pots which we had to return home for the car to carry them.

On the way the sky was blue as blue and the horses were enjoying the sun.

We had planned a trip to the Dales and had declined a Bolton Abbey walk this morning..sadly son in law John has spent much of the day in bed so this is as far as we got.

He has been on Lem sips since arriving on Saturday and has finally succumbed and taken to bed.

Having said that they are off tonight to friends in Sheffield as they make their way back to Bristol for New Year festivities. Hope he is feeling better by then.
