Waiting at West Bexington

We ordered the boys to come down the coast with us today - admittedly they have both been studying but it was such a beautiful day we wanted a family day so we all walked from Abbotsbury to West Bexington . It was exhilarating but unfortunately when we arrived the cafe was closed! So I opted to walk up the road to the Manor Hotel to buy a pot of tea which I enjoyed on the lawn outside with this view. I was joined by a little robin.
I also heard a voice say 'Hello' - one of my pupils so that was a surprise.
The men picked me up after about an hour but it was bliss to have a short while listening to the sounds in the pines and reading!
