Long Strand

Another fantastic walk today - we headed off to Long Strand. Bright, very breezy with some humungeous waves. Four brave surfers were getting drenched at one end, little terns caught the updraught, dogs bounced and it was too wild for skimmming! Weatherbeaten, eyes watering, cheeks reddened we have just consumed beans on cheesy toast and burnt smoked tomato and lentil soup. Mmmm - maybe a bit of Christmas cake now.
