Birch tree silhouetted at dusk, near Munlochy.

Out for a wee wander this evening, along part of the former Black Isle railway line. It's heavily overgrown in places, and on the stretch I explored. Up early, and surprisingly productive for the first few hours this morning. Mainly domestic chores. Leisure mode thereafter. Plus six centigrade seemed very mild after several days of sub-zero temperatures.

Out for my first run in goodness knows how long. Years and years, possibly. Will be sore for several days hereafter. And only did a gentle mile. Hope to do a 10k event next year. Don't expect to be at my pace of old, what with the last one being in 2003...
