Christmas Night Out

Ed and I had his work Christmas night out tonight. We stayed over in the Grand Central hotel in Glasgow and had dinner in the Anchor Line, a new restaurant that's opened just across the road from my office. Both the restaurant and my office had been inside the police cordon until that afternoon, following the tragic events on Queen Street on Monday. We swapped our Christmas presents in the room before going out. Traditionally, we do our presents on Christmas Eve but can't this year as we are heading down to Yorkshire. 

Earlier in the day I signed the book of condolence at St George's Tron. People were queuing out the door to sign it. Am very thankful for a Christmas surrounded by loved ones.
