The Eiffel Bridge

That's right. Gustave Eiffel wasn't just a towering one hit wonder. Amongst many other things he also built this impressive iron span over the river Truyere in the Cantal.

We stopped off for cafes et croissants on our way home earlier today. As you can see, it was pretty bleak in the Massif Centrale, lowest we loggged was minus 6*. 

I'm very happy to say it was positively spring like when we eventually reached the Mediterranean.
