An enormous shoulder of lamb prompted a dinner for friends, plus prosecco, plus wine, and port with the cheese course.....  and very nice it was too.  Three hours in the oven did the lamb nicely, although there wasn't a chance in hell of carving nice slices from such an awkward anatomy.  Served with saffron cauliflower and puy lentils, with couscous.
