Indian Palm Squirrel in front of my window.

today all day in. to much coughing and sniffing... no music---what a pity to come from so far....but i saw, from my window:

2 koel-big crow-like birds, with big tails, the lady white and grey-black flecked, the male dark with bright red eyes. they lay their eggs in other bird's nests. they have a marvelous wistfully call, just as the sun  starts setting


one king fisher


one young playful, pretty dog, ted with a piece of string to a stone. men came and fed him, and played with him. (we look out over a sort of waste-land and laundry hangs there, men come to pee, and there are lots of things going on.)

many huge kites-eagle -like bird soaring high with exquisite precision

two beautiful cats

one very pretty Indian palm squirrel, who was very close and didn't move when i took my camera...

and last but not least the loud Myna bird with its spectacular black, grey  and white feathers, yellow beak and eye area

i would have liked to put a photo each today...
