Amarreurs Harbour
There was a twinkle of the sun as it rose above the horizon this morning with a spash of colour, but it swiftly disappeared behind a cloud and the morning now looks set to remain overcast. I was hoping to repeat a couple of the blips I took yesterday but the lack of sun and also the tidal position meant I couldn't reproduce them, so I'll have to be patient. I cycled along the coast taking a variety of shots. I decided to publish this one as its colours brightens up a grey day. It is taken at Les Amarreur, a popular beach for families as it is safe, has sandy patches and rock pools. At high tide there is a low granite pier which children love to jump off. I expect I'll blip this on another occasion as it is a picturesque spot.
