Chilly Cheeks!
Backblip
It was so cold outside today that within minutes of being out, my cheeks were frozen and I was finding it difficult to talk. I think David found it quite restful :))
We've received the second stage sketch drawing for the extension from the architect and since the building work includes a complete reconfiguration of the kitchen, we headed into Perth to a kitchen showroom, to get some ideas.
Just before we left the house, I described to David what my dream layout would be (it involves moving the Aga and I suspect won't be possible as it will be too far away from an external wall) He couldn't quite visualise it but when we walked into the showroom, the first display was the exact layout I'd imagined. Not the style of kitchen though but at least it let us see the layout in reality. Thankfully David was more than happy with it and agrees it's the best use of space. Keeping everything crossed the Aga can be moved to accommodate it.
Back home to a cosy evening in and dinner made by D. Calamari to start then parmesan chicken, potato rosti and roast veg. Good old M&S ;-)))
