By Seas Unsailed...

A magical moment happened today, when a slightly belated Christmas card arrived in the post from my brother in Thailand.

It is a wonderful pop-up card from local Thai producer 'Tjack', featuring a galleon, to which my brother has added an apt and evocative quote from the opening canto of Luís de Camões’ epic poem, Os Lusíadas: "By seas never before navigated...".
