Tetchy Tits

I wrapped myself up warmly and went for a walk at Fishers Green. I was photographing gulls jockeying for pole position. There's a series of poles that they are always squabbling over. I had set the camera to compensate for their bright white plumage in the late afternoon sunshine.

I heard a flock of long-tailed tits approach and turned the camera to them in the tree above where I was standing without re-setting. They hardly ever stay still but I noticed a pair that were having a needle-match. I shot as they sparred.

My pics were very dark and the one that I've posted is a bit rubbish. As MrQ says it is mainly of their bottoms. However I do love the spread of the wings of the one on the left.
