Mr Frost

Frost very much present this morning, layers on to walk the dogs.

My sewing machine has been misbehaving recently so I decided it needed a good overhaul and cleaning so planned to take it for a service today. I thought it was only a couple of years old, within warranty/guarantee, but found the invoice - nearly four years ago purchased (March 2011)!!! Took my machine to the shop in Reading (accompanied by hi indoors - someone needed to carry it), told by Mark (manager) "don't want to tell you how to suck eggs ......" Then proceeded to tell me about using the right feet and thread etc. Felt very much put in my place. Anyway, left my poorly machine there and went on for some retail therapy.
