Frosty Morning

I went out early this morning to enjoy the sunrise over a frosty landscape. I was wondering at the wisdom of such an excursion before breakfast, as the temperature on my car registered -5 degrees (pretty cold for the south of England!) I was very glad I made the effort, as the views were spectacular. Sunrise itself gave only a brief glimpse of colour but the frozen landscape was beautiful. Here's a selection, including a kingfisher who insisted on hiding behind a twig, and lots of reflections in the river like this one!
